back in action

Sooo here's a lil history of how I learned to draw... In 3rd grade I met a korean girl who drew the cutest lil people. It was probably the first time I saw someone draw anything and I was totally fascinated. I didn't ask how though because I didn't want to steal her style.. lol but in 4th grade I got into pokemon and made some cash money off my bookmarks featuring ash and pikachu.. i made a total of $1.50 I was proud. =P

Then in 5th grade a girl named jenny taught me her version of anime.. and then I spent 2 years drawing big ol' right eyes with twinkles and I'd show my dad and he'd say "what is it?" That pretty much sums up a good long period of my art career.

And finally in what i think was 2005... i visited ringling and showed them a portfolio and realized that they way i had been drawing was pretty much unacceptable to them. so it gets boring from here but basically i know what I want to do and I gave up on deviant art because I always thought of it as pokemon and neopets and anime... but i'm finding a ton of awesome artists now that i know what to look for.


So i guess I'm returning to my roots here a little bit and I think it's a good thing... hooray for animation and the people who love it!
